Chris Brown wishes his ex-girlfriend Rihanna well following reports that she gave birth to a baby boy last week with A$AP Rocky

But that didn’t stop Chris Brown, 33, from congratulating ex-girlfriend Rihanna, 34, on the birth of her baby boy with partner A$AP Rocky, 33, on Instagram on Thursday.
According to TMZ and People, the singer gave birth on May 13th.
The musician wrote ‘Congratulations’ in a Story on his social media platform, along with a pregnant woman emoji, prayer hands, and red heart symbols.
Though he didn’t mention the Umbrella hitmaker in his post, his congratulations arrived just an hour after TMZ broke the good news.
The two notably dated from 2007 to 2009, before Brown attacked the Barbadian beauty in a violent automobile dispute, leaving her face injured and requiring hospitalization.
He pled guilty to felony assault after the violent encounter and consented to a plea deal that included 5 years of probation, community service, and domestic violence counseling.
Rihanna spoke to Oprah about working on their friendship after she dropped the 5-year restraining order: ‘We’ve been working on our friendship again, and now we’re very, very close friends.’
‘We adore each other and will probably always love each other. That is not something we will attempt to change. If you’ve ever been in love, that’s not something you can turn off,’ she explained.
From 2012 to 2013, the two had a romantic reconciliation before parting ways for good.
Brown’s wishes came amid reports on Thursday that Rihanna and boyfriend A$AP Rocky had welcomed their first child.
According to TMZ, the singer gave birth to her son on May 13.
The DMB rapper and the Savage x Fenty designer have yet to confirm the baby’s arrival, and the site has no information on a name.
The cover girl was last seen in public on May 9, when she left Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California, with Rocky by her side, following a romantic Italian meal.

According to People, the actress is relaxing with the baby at her Los Angeles home.
‘Rihanna is in great shape. They are ecstatic to become parents. Rihanna is already a fantastic mother,’ a source told the website.
Rihanna and A$AP have been romantically linked for two years following years of friendship. This is their first kid.
Rocky wore a Marry Me grill in his music video for DMB (Dat My B*tch) and she donned a red wedding gown with veil for a pretend wedding, leading to speculation that they secretly married or got engaged.
Following her breakup with Hassan Jameel, whom she dated for over three years, news came in January 2020 that Rihanna was seeing longtime buddy A$AP.
Rihanna and A$AP were romantically associated for a brief moment in 2013 when she appeared in his Fashion Killa music video.
She announced her pregnancy in January when she stepped out with Rocky in Harlem, New York, where he grew up.
Her long hot pink jacket was pulled down to expose her tummy as she proudly displayed her baby bump.
