The mother was shamed for asking her husband to save her life rather than the baby’s

The majority of the comments on the post were positive toward the mother. “I wholeheartedly support this,” one Reddit user said. Women are not only mothers, but also individuals in their own right. Misogynists are people or organizations who believe the [mother’s] life is secondary.” Others have stated that it is unquestionably her body, her choice, and no one else’s business.
Parents are certainly put in a difficult position when it comes to deciding who will live or die, but the idea that mothers’ lives are not even worth considering is revolting. The Reddit user and her husband appear to have agreed on what they will do in an emergency. Nobody else has a say in the matter, at the end of the day.
But, more importantly, she should not be made to feel morbid or “negative” for discussing important issues with her spouse.
