In the middle of the courtroom, a woman makes an announcement: Johnny Depp is the father of her child
Throughout their defamation case, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been subjected to arduous questioning. Johnny Depp is suing her for $50 million, while Amber Heard is suing him for $100 million, claiming Johnny “smeared” her by calling her a liar. With the conclusion of the case, all evidence has been presented. One would think that theatrics had ended, but in court on Monday, May 23rd, a woman stood up and shouted for the entire room to hear that Johnny Depp was the father of her child.
Depp’s libel case started on Monday, May 23rd. The judge had walked out of the courtroom as the morning beak began, and the cameras had stopped recording. This means that the events that followed were not recorded or broadcast, but many witnesses attested to what they saw and heard. Angenette Levy, a Law & Crime reporter, reported what she saw.
A woman with her baby was watching the trial from the gallery. She stood up as everyone was about to leave for the break and shouted for the entire room to hear that she loves Johnny and that they are soulmates.
“Suddenly, this woman… She stands in the back of the courtroom with her baby,” Angenette said. “‘Johnny, I love you, our souls are connected.'”
As a result of his celebrity, Depp is used to having fans approach him. Angenette described Johnny’s reaction to the woman as if he was used to people acting this way around him. “He kind of turned and waved, as he does sometimes,” Angenette explained. So the woman raised the baby she was holding and exclaimed, “This is Johnny’s baby!”
Angenette recalled, “she held up the baby and said, ‘This baby is yours.'” According to her, everyone in the courtroom shared a moment of shock and confusion before the woman was removed. “Everyone was like, ‘oh…Woah…okay…’ and then the deputy came over and said, ‘you’re outta here.’ It was pretty wild,” she continued.
According to Angenette, the deputy removed the woman and her child from the courtroom and cut off her wristband, preventing her from returning. She was seen hanging out around the courtroom, still holding her young baby and smiling amusingly.
The woman was tracked down after the incident in court, and she allegedly claimed that the whole thing was a joke that she and her husband thought would be hilarious.
Jesse Cord Weber is the man speaking with Angenette. He inquired about the woman’s pregnancy with Angenette. He was concerned because she had a young child out at 1:00 a.m., waiting in line to enter the courtroom. So Jesse inquired, “Was she waiting with the baby at 1 a.m. to enter the courtroom? If that’s the case, there’s a bigger problem.”
Naturally, those following this case are likely to be very curious as to whether Johnny did, in fact, father a secret love child. Finally, Angenette clarified that the unidentified woman’s claim was false and that she was “joking.”
“Just so everyone knows,” Levy said, “Johnny Depp does not have a third baby out there who was at the courthouse today.”
