Tom Holland and Zendaya have a lovely relationship that is full of advice, love, and support
Tom Holland is one of those actors who is instantly adored as soon as he appears on the big screen. He’s from the United Kingdom, so Hollywood was unfamiliar to him — but he nailed it.
People couldn’t get enough of him when he made his first small appearance in Captain America – we wanted more of that quirky, funny, amazing actor. Tom Holland is the current Spiderman for Marvel.
His current Spiderman franchise has done far better than the previous movies. Tom Holland has cemented his status as today’s official Spiderman with films like Homecoming, Away from Home, and this year’s enormous blockbuster No Way Home, and we adore him!
And the one who has always been by his side is Zendaya, a modern-day queen.
A partner who is always present
The two have been fast friends since he featured alongside Zendaya in his first Spiderman movie. Zendaya has always been praised by Tom Hollands as a good and supportive partner who has played a key role in his achievement.
Tom Holland discussed how Zendaya supported him during his journey in an exclusive interview with GQ:
“Having her in my life was so instrumental to my sanity,”
“She is so good at being the role model for young guys and girls. When anyone comes up, like, ‘Can I have a picture?,’ it’s never a bad time. Whereas my initial reaction was: ‘Why are you talking to me? Leave me alone.’ ”
In an interview with Backstage, he named two persons who influenced his development: Robert Downey Jr. and Zendaya. Zendaya always had the appropriate answer for him whenever he was unhappy or stuck. Backstage, he said:
“She was so helpful in the process of my life changing, because not only are you making big films and you’re traveling the world, but everyone starts to know who you are. And you have to behave differently. You have a responsibility to kind of uphold this idea of being a role model to young kids. And, arguably, she’s the best at that. You can’t really find anything against Zendaya, she’s kind of like the perfect person. It was so wonderful to have someone like her in my corner, to help me grow through that process.”
A wonderful friendship turns into a love relationship
Tom Holland and Zendaya’s incredible friendship grew into a wonderful romance over time. We all respect our privacy and want our own time to inform anybody we choose, therefore neither of them wanted to talk about it publicly.
However, no matter how hard you try to hide something, when you’re a huge star, you’re being observed. They formally revealed their love on Zendaya’s birthday, after a lot of their privacy had been invaded, which they both hated.
Tom Holland addressed the topic of their relationship in GQ:
“The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own.… I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”
