Demi Moore wishes ex-husband Bruce Willis a happy 67th birthday, saying she is grateful for their blended family
Demi Moore and Bruce Willis were married from 1987 to 2000 and have three daughters: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.
For his birthday, Demi Moore is sending love to ex-husband Bruce Willis.
On Saturday, the 59-year-old actress published a beautiful Instagram message in which she extended her best wishes for Willis as he celebrated his 67th birthday.
“Happy birthday, Bruce! Thankful for our blended family,” Moore wrote a caption for her message.
Moore and Bruce were photographed in a kitchen with broad smiles on their faces, Moore holding a cutting board of real morels.
Fans replied to Moore’s post in the comments section, applauding her for how she and Willis had remained close years after their breakup.
“Blended family goals! Adore you both. Blessings,” said one fan, while another added, “Yours was the model for my blended family! And it works! Everyone is happy.”
Willis and Moore have three daughters, Rumer, 33, Scout, 30, and Tallulah, 28. They were married from 1987 to 2000.
In 2009, Willis remarried Emma Heming Willis, with whom he had two young daughters, Evelyn, seven, and Mabel, nine.
Moore celebrated Willis’ birthday last year with another social media post, in which she expressed identical feelings to those expressed in her 2022 post.
“Happy birthday, BW! You are a one of a kind!” she posted it with a family photo at the time. “So thankful to share these three beautiful girls and for our blended families.”
Rumer spoke to PEOPLE in October 2021 about being the child of divorced parents and praised both her mother and father for making it so she “never” felt compelled to choose one parent over the other.
“I’m so grateful that we have all really strived to have really deep and meaningful and honest communication,” she added. “In any relationship — whether it’s with a partner, whether it’s with your family or your friends — that being honest and just really communicating well and having good tools for communication, I think, is so unbelievably important.”
“I have a lot of friends who grew up with parents who got divorced at a young age and I watched their parents, like, pit them against each other or have to choose between holidays,” The House Bunny star continued.
Rumer continued, “And I didn’t have to do that, and I feel so grateful that my parents made it such a priority that we could be a family, even though it looked different.”
