Chet Hanks, Tom Hanks’ son, says “I didn’t have a strong male role model growing up”
Chet, Tom Hanks’s 31-year-old son, opens up about his life and struggles. According to the rapper, people used to form opinions about him before even meeting him. He stated that it has been extremely difficult to break down people’s walls and that he has encountered a great deal of contempt, animosity, and negativity because everyone was just waiting to hate his guts.
Chet, who regularly posts photos of himself flexing his muscles on Instagram, added that many of his detractors never had the courage to confront him face to face because of his tough exterior and ability to intimidate.
Chet revealed in a video on his YouTube channel that he had no one to turn to as a celebrity kid. “I didn’t have a strong male role model to tell me Bro, f**k these people,” he explained. They are simply envious of you.” He also mentioned the disdain he has received from his peers as a result of his wealth, fame, and being perceived as arrogant, entitled, and spoiled.
“You have all these things that they want, so they’re trying to f*ing throw their shade at you so you can feel stty about yourself because they’re jealous,” he added. That was exactly what I needed to hear. I didn’t have anyone to inform me of this. This is me telling a younger version of myself what I needed to hear at the time.”
“When I was younger, people used to f**k with me a lot. “It was never directed at me,” he recalled. “It was always behind my back in the form of st talking and gossip.”
Chet explained that being wealthy as a child can cause anger among people who are less fortunate.
“There are a lot of benefits, but it can be a little strange at times.” I got to do a lot of fun stuff that a lot of other people don’t get to do. I’ve had the opportunity to travel the world, stay in luxurious hotels, and fly on private jets, and I consider myself really fortunate. “I wouldn’t alter anything about my situation.”
