How much meat should you eat off chicken wings – Twitter debate
The internet always has an opinion about things, and you can bet that if you’re doing something wrong, the people of Twitter will be the first to tell you.
Remember when everyone was debating the best technique to cut toast or how properly a marshmallow should be cooked? On there, they’re pretty serious about food.
The latest Twitter dispute is about how people bite the meat off their chicken wings, and it’s becoming very heated.
iHussle, a Twitter user, posted a now-viral chicken wing chart to his account, revealing that he falls between #3 and #4 on the scale.
As you can see, the amount of food consumed differs dramatically between wing #1 (a few nibbles) to wing #5. (the meat sucked clean off the bone). The manner you eat it, toast it, or slice it comes down to personal preference, just like anything else food-related.
But keep in mind that this is the internet. And there are a lot of people who have strong preferences about this.
Users were ready to criticize anyone who claimed to be the world’s best wing eater.
“You ever eat with a 1 and you’re just sitting there annoyed?” someone asked, making other person to answer, “Gotta remind myself that they’re mostly good people and this not the hill to kill a friendship on.”
Other person got right to the point and wrote, “#1 people are definitely serial killers.”
Another one added, “I’m a 5 but I guess I’ll give a pass to 4’s. At least there was an attempt. 1-3’s are enemies of the state.”
Given the number of people who agreed with these comments, it’s safe to assume that many of us keep our cool while we’re in a group out in public, but when we’re alone in our own homes, we’ll absolutely destroy some chicken wings.
Those people don’t seem to quit once they’ve removed all of the meat off the bone.
This individual stated, “I’m a 6.” “The one where I take the marrow out of a bone that has been cleansed and broken in multiple places.”
You can simply enjoy your wings in peace and realize that, in the end, it’s all about personal preference.
