The terrible way a homeless man attacked a woman in her own house, in United States
A homeless man, whom she had let to enter her home to take a shower, stabbed her with a knife in her own home. The attacker was arrested and the victim was sent to the hospital.
On Sunday about 5 p.m., police in Salt Lake City were summoned to the woman’s apartment and discovered her with a sore throat and heavy bleeding.
Police did not release the victim’s name, but he was brought to the hospital for emergency surgery. According to Fox News., doctors later claimed the woman’s condition was serious but stable.
She said authorities she left the man who attacked her in the house to shower and that he was homeless.
Eric Jones, a 30-year-old suspect, was caught nearly 3 kilometers from the apartment of the woman whose neck was cut. A criminal accusation of aggravated assault was filed against him.
Detective Michelle Mechling of the Salt Lake City Police Department said it was unclear whether the victim knew the suspect.
