Viral video of a little Ukrainian child in Madrid being hugged by his new classmates
In Ukraine, things have gotten much worse in the last two months. Millions of families have been split up, with over 3.5 million fleeing to neighbouring nations for protection.
One of those refugees is a young child who made it to Madrid, Spain, safely. There is where the boy’s relatives live. His mother and 3-month-old infant sister accompanied him.
Ukrainian diplomat Olexander Shcherba released an emotive and wholesome film of pure delight and joy. Denis Visotskiy also shared it on TikTok.
This boy attended CEIP Peru school in the video. And as soon as he walked into the classroom, he was greeted with an outpouring of affection and concern from his new classmates, who raced to embrace and hug him.
These happy kids didn’t make this guy feel like he was a newcomer to the school; they hugged him like they’d known each other for years.
It’s a very moving sight to see in a world that’s going through so much chaos true demonstration of humanity’s strength.
Moments like this demonstrate that humanity will fight to survive and thrive no matter how awful things get!
