M&S has been praised for including ‘normal’ women with stomach rolls and stretch marks
Megan Carole, a body-positive influencer, advises, “LOVE YOURSELF FIRST.” Carole recently scored a significant assignment, starring in Marks & Spencer’s Valentine’s underwear campaign, by preaching what she preaches. As a result, despite having tummy rolls and stretch marks, the High Street Retailer is now praised for using the influencer.
Carole’s image was allegedly not unrealistically altered, which pleased many of her followers.

“To me, from me,” reads the caption on the post. “This Valentine’s Day, self-love is the best kind of love.” People in the comments couldn’t keep their cool and voiced their opinions without holding back. “It’s lovely to see a physique that hasn’t been airbrushed,” one user wrote. “I really like this shot,” someone else said. “She’s stunning. Looks fantastic,” said a third. “Thank you for photographing real women rather than sticks.”
“Amazing photos,” someone else said. “Self-love is the most difficult to attain, but it is also the most vital. You’ve got a lot of it.”
“Wow, this is wonderful, something fresh,” said another. “Lovely to see a larger model, kudos,” one consumer remarked. Carole is a well-known figure on the internet. On Instagram, she has about 100,000 followers, and on TikTok, she has over 120,000. She also posted the identical photo to her Instagram account.
Her caption: “Love yourself first. The month of a whole lot of loving! TO ME, LOVE ME! Because you start to feel it you will begin to heal it! That definitely helps when you fall for a set that is gorgeous is this one from Marks and Spencer.”
Carole, on the other hand, has always characterized herself as a “big smiler” who “loves her physique.”
