A man proposes to his girlfriend by using a scene from her favorite Disney movie

Throughout the ages, Disney films have always been about wonderful and enchanting stories. Through memorable characters and unforgettable storylines, they have captivated audiences of all ages.

We all have that one Disney film that lives in our hearts and will always have a special place in our lives no matter how old we get – Disney has a strong sense of nostalgia.

Today’s story is about a very talented and creative boyfriend who proposed to his girlfriend by using her favorite Disney film, Sleeping Beauty, a timeless classic!

Lee Loechler is the story’s creative and loving boyfriend. He proposed to his girlfriend Sthuthi David in a movie theater while Sleeping Beauty was playing. Sthuthi, who was sitting in the front row with her boyfriend, had no idea that the entire movie theater was packed with their own friends and family – everyone was in on it. The scene sort of “changed” during a hugely important moment in the film, and Lee proposed!

On Reddit, the man himself, yourstruelee, explained his story:

“For the past six months I’ve been animating my girlfriend and myself into her favorite movie, Sleeping Beauty. With the help of some local Redditors, I popped the question in a ‘crowded’ movie theater…”

Sthuthi was surprised and delighted. She was initially perplexed because a few scenes in the film appeared to be different. And then a ring appeared. She was just astounded until she turned around and realized that the entire theater was made up of her own friends and family! She, of course, said yes!

This is one of our favorite proposals because it is so unique. Lee went above and beyond to ask his life’s love to marry him; that’s how it should be!
