Rain doesn’t stop this dedicated nurse from helping her patients

They claim that if you enjoy what you do, everything else becomes simpler. At least this is the thought of Mary Luz Salazar, a wonderful Bolivian nurse, for people who are truly passionate about what they do, regardless of rain, thunder, or lightning, because the important thing is to go and perform their work with all their hearts.

Salazar is a nurse who has worked relentlessly to combat the Covid-19 outbreak in her hometown. She goes to work every day to care for her patients; nevertheless, there were strong rains a few days ago, and she still went to the hospital; this is her incredible story.

The nurse is so dedicated to her job that she didn’t mind if the streets were flooded; she rode her bike across the city to get to the hospital and continue working, because she not only has a great vocation, but also a strong sense of community as well as love.

Mary’s story was spread by a person who took a picture of her at home and shared it on social media to demonstrate that she can overcome any difficulty.

When the nurse returned home after a lengthy shift of more than ten hours, she discovered that her photo had become a trend, and that everyone had seen it, but she claims that she was simply doing her job.

“Many people do not value our work, I just ask you to be patient, because we are doing everything in our power.”
