On their planned wedding day, this woman wore her wedding gown to visit her fiancé’s grave
Today’s story is very touching and emotional; it encapsulates the essence of true love and dedication. This story is from Montgomery, Indiana, in the United States of America.
Jessica Padgett and Kendall James Murphy were in love, and they selected a wedding date to commemorate their future together. On September 29th, the pair announced their engagement and began planning their wedding.
Kendall James Murphy was a fireman who died in the line of duty. Murphy and his coworker, Blake, went to the site in their own automobiles in November of 2017 while responding to a rescue call.
Murphy was getting out of his car to put on his gear when his car was hit by Blake’s car, which was clearly driving under the influence and collided with three other cars. Murphy died right there on the spot. Blake was determined to have a blood-alcohol level of.21% after an inspection; he sustained a few injuries while his friend died.
A bewildered and devastated Jessica Padgett, despite having so much planned for her big day, chose to wear her wedding gown and pay a visit to her husband’s grave on the day of their wedding.
The entire family was there to support this strong woman who dressed up in her wedding gown to pay a visit to her late fiance and celebrate a long-ago wedding. Loving Life Photography took incredible images of the event, which illustrate how emotionally draining it was for the bride-to-be.
Nothing stood in the way of the lovely bride saying her goodbyes to her groom-to-be. To say goodbye to the sadly departed Murphy, there were bridesmaids, speeches, and stunning sky-lanterns.
