TikToker tells the heartbreaking story of being sent home in an Uber by her date because of her dress
Our Stories section is full of stories about horrible dates, but this one is particularly painful and depressing. It’s from a woman who was driven home in an Uber because her clothing didn’t fulfill the man’s requirements.
Nikki Jabs, a TikToker, found a man online who appeared to be a good match at first. He asked her to live with her after only a few weeks of dating. He also mentioned some nice things, such as:
“I don’t want this weekend to end.”
“How could I have been so lucky?”
Nikki’s enthusiasm and happiness are plainly obvious in a video she posted on her TikTok, and the girl appears to be sincerely happy with this man.
Greg, the protagonist of the narrative, was supposedly so captivated with Nikki that he changed his door code to Nikki’s birthday. She moved in with him in the hopes of a long-term romance.
A good relationship is one in which the other person is aware of your anxieties and flaws but yet loves you for who you are.
For the pair, things were starting to look up and take off. Until one evening, when Nikki was due to accompany Greg to dinner and then to a Greg’s company-sponsored office gathering.
Nikki looked stunning as always on the night of the date, choosing a stunning clothing. However, something didn’t feel right. Greg kept staring at Nikki, as if she’d done something wrong, according to Nikki.
Nikki questioned:
“Why do you keep staring at me?”
Greg answered:
“Oh nothing. You just… you just look so pretty.”
Nikki continued:
“Is that your way of telling me that I’m overdressed?”
Greg answered:
“Well, maybe not for dinner.”
That’s when Nikki inquired if she should go home and change because she felt she wasn’t dressed appropriately for Greg’s business event.
During dinner, Nikki stayed firm and told Greg that she was either going to the event in her current dress or staying at home. Greg then asked if he might call her an Uber at that point.
Nikki ended her relationship with Greg and returned to her apartment after this traumatic experience. We believe she made the proper decision by avoiding a relationship with someone who exhibits so many toxic symptoms and red flags.
